Submitting your writing to the SPACE website

Return to description

To earn Co-Curricular credit for the SPACE Arts and Sciences certificate, you can take writing you have done for a SPACE activity, a class project or independently and turn it into a submission to the SPACE website.

Please note: SPACE welcomes submissions from all students; you do not have to be enrolled in the SPACE certificate to submit a piece for publication on the SPACE website.

Turning your writing into a submission means:

  • making it accessible and engaging for a general audience
  • editing and polishing it
  • including certain other elements needed for publication––i.e. a title, a byline, a copyright free image and a short bio.

Submissions should be more or less ready to publish with relatively minor changes needed. If submissions require major changes, they will be sent back to you for further revisions. If you need help revising your submission, you can reach out to a teacher or a friend or email Ursula Sommerer at usommerer@dawsoncollege.qc.ca to connect with one of the SPACE coordinators.
