In conjunction with the theme What If, the SPACE team welcomes you to an outing to The PHI Foundation for Contemporary Art where we will visit the Terms of Use exhibition. This group exhibition explores the manners in which technologies influence us as individuals but also as a collective whole, and questions how we live both online and AFK (away from keyboard). Students will get to explore virtual reality, video works, and sculpture, among other media.

This outing includes a one-hour guided visit, followed by a one-hour art workshop entitled I will never finish removing all these faces developed by artist Nadège Grebmeier Forget. The workshop involves a guided performance around the ideas of merging analog and digital realms, mirrors, and self-representation. No art experience is necessary.

For SPACE certificate students who are interested in writing a reflective response of the visit for additional credit (2 credits), please see here for more information.

For SPACE certificate students this outing counts as 2 credits toward your certificate.

Please Indicate your interest in participating in the outing by completing the form below. Be sure to indicate in the comments section whether you want to participate on April 18 or April 25.
