AR Cité (arcite.ca) is a Dawson student-centered project that uses Augmented Reality (AR) to reveal the histories and social realities of the neighbourhood in and around Dawson College. The AR Cité app was created in Unity by students and professional developers and was recently published on the app stores for iOS and Android devices.

Project lead, Reisa Levine (CinCom) and members of the students team will be offering a workshop on the history and creative uses of AR, as well as a hands-on demonstration on how the AR Cité app works.

Come give the app a try and discover more about AR!

The workshop will include a presentation of opportunities to get involved on the production team. The team is looking for: Unity coders, QA testers, audio / video creators, photographers, 2D and 3D animators, and other creative souls. Two paid internship positions on the team are also available.
