4th space: 17 Stations

Return to description.

On April 16th from 3:15 p.m. join SPACE's Make Things That Matter participants for an interactive exhibition and discussion at Concordia University's 4TH SPACE.

17 Stations is an experimental audio-visual experience that presents the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through music, commentary, photography, local stories and cutting-edge science.

The exhibition idea was initiated by Prof. Baron Tymas, Co-director of the Design, Arts, Culture and Community Cluster of the Next-Generation Cities Institute.  Through dialogue with over thirty Concordia University creative colleagues, a unique concept was developed to launch a series of exhibitions that highlight sustainable pratices across multiple locations. This first-of-its-kind experience will be followed by a roundtable discussion with members of the team at 4 p.m. Students will be invited to explore the exhibition and listen in to the discussion informally.

This activity is part of the SPACE Arts and Sciences Certifcate (2 credits)

As spaces are limited, students who are currently enrolled in the certifcate will be given precedent.

Date:  Tuesday, April 16, 3:15 p.m. Discussion at 4:00 p.m.
Note that the exhibition informally runs all day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: Room LB-103, 1400 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W. This experience is part of 4TH SPACE public programming.
Duration: 2 hours.
