CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!

For the first time this year, SPACE is organizing a week-long, Dawson College-wide exhibition around our annual theme, which this year is Eureka Moments--that time and place when after many years of hard work and persistence a personal breakthrough in the arts or sciences is made. This could take the form of a science experiment that until then just didn't click or a short story whose protagonist didn't quite seem complete. For the scientist and the writer these instances are personal eureka moments, but as important as the breakthrough may have been it was the process of experimentation that really counted.

We are inviting all Dawson students (and any interested faculty) to submit and contribute there own personal eureka moments for the exhibition. This could take the form of a poem you have written, scientific research you are currently undertaking, a painting or sculpture that you are inspired to make.  Works in progress as welcome and all creative forms will be considered.

This year’s exhibition will be held in the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery of Dawson College, running from November 22nd - 26th, 2010. If you would like to get involved please contact any of the SPACE
coordinators.
